At Double Bond Dog Training, I believe the best person to train your dog is YOU! I will work with you to teach you and your dog to communicate and create a stronger bond together.
Training packages consist of a free 30-minute zoom or phone consultation, followed by three to five sessions lasting approximately 45 minutes to one hour. Sessions can take place in your home, yard, or any public location. All sessions can be individualized to your needs and schedule. If, after the consultation, either party decides it is not a good fit, there is no charge to you.
SESSIONS ARE CUSTOMIZED TO YOUR TRAINING LEVEL AND NEEDS. BELOW ARE POPULAR TOPICS.
One of most important developmental learning stages in puppies occurs between 3 and 12 weeks. Sessions are geared to help you get ready for your new puppy and make sure you have an appropriate environment for success from day one. After your puppy arrives, sessions may include crate training, house breaking, introduction to play, and clicker basics.
Has your cute little puppy turned into a whirling dervish with teeth like a piranha? Cute behaviors can quickly get out of control as your puppy grows in size and energy. Sessions will be created to help you manage and train your growing puppy, tailored to your specific needs.
Positive reinforcement skills will be taught to you and your dog to get you started on your training journey. A strong foundation in training will be used to teach basic manners, such as sit, down, friendly greetings, and loose leash walking.
Take your training to the next level with advanced skills, learn how to improve your training abilities to teach more complex behaviors and get desired outcomes no matter the environment. Options include training outside the home in a real-world environment and/or training life skills such as leaving dangerous objects alone.
Help your dog to become more comfortable at the vet or groomer with positive reinforcement. Learn how to teach them to accept handing, nail grooming, tooth brushing, and more.
Trick training and active play are fun ways to bond with your dog, provide mental stimulation, and maintain fitness. Teach your dog fun and impressive tricks or learn how to play with your dog in a safe, healthy, and interactive way.
There are many reasons that dogs can be aggressive and display behaviors that might be dangerous to family members, strangers, and/or other animals. These are best dealt with by a professional animal behaviorist. If this is the type of service you need, please contact your veterinarian for referrals.
